When ordering a mold, the clearer the information, the faster the quotation and the earlier the delivery date. Before requesting a mold from Taeyoung Industrial Company, we have summarized 7 things that are good to keep in mind.

1. Product drawing or 3D data

If you have 3D data such as STEP·IGES along with 2D drawing, shape review and quotation will be much faster. If you don't have drawings yet, we can provide consultation with samples or sketches.

2. Type of resin used

Please let us know the resin to be used, such as HDPE or PP, and it will be reflected in the shrinkage rate and gate design. Mold design varies depending on the resin.

3. Estimated production quantity

Monthly and annual production quantity is key information in determining the number of cavities (1 or 32) and mold material. Mold specifications and unit prices vary greatly depending on quantity.

4. Surface/post-processing specifications

An accurate quotation is possible if you specify surface specifications such as gloss, matte (corrosion), logo/engraving, etc. in advance.

5. Expected delivery date

If you let us know the target mass production date, we will calculate the mold production schedule and guide you.

6. Mass production method

Please decide whether to manufacture only the mold or proceed with injection molding and assembly. Taeyoung Industrial Co., Ltd. is capable of mold-injection-assembly batch production.

7. How to request a quote

Please compile the above information and send it to Online Inquiry , and a person in charge will review and reply.

One accurate piece of information saves days of lead time. If you have difficulty preparing, please feel free to contact us using the materials you have.
